Current World Environment is a self-financed journal. It is not supported by any agency or government. Article Processing Charges and subscription for print issues are the only source of income. The APC is based on sliding scale, providing reduced rates for low and middle income countries on the publication charges. Operating expense including the cost of web presence, print version, pre-press preparations, and staff salaries is supported by above mentioned resources.
